LOU DiCOCCO

Lou attended St. Joseph University in Philadelphia, PA, graduated with a Management and Marketing Degree and received his first certification as a Liturgical Consultant [I.F.R.A.] from the American Institute of Architects. In 1994 he co-founded Lux Mundi, Inc., which manufactured, marketed and distributed an innovative oil based candle that replaced the more costly and labor intensive traditional wax candles that are used in Cathedrals, Churches and Chapels.

After the sale of Lux Mundi, Lou founded St. Jude Liturgical Arts Studio, a division of St. Jude Shop in Havertown, PA, to focus on the ever increasing demand for Cathedral, Church and Chapel renovations and refurbishing. Because of the demand for traditional artwork made from the highest quality materials, St. Jude Liturgical Arts Studio collaborates with liturgical artisans from all over the world who specialize in the time honored tradition of creating masterpiece liturgical art.

St. Jude Liturgical Arts Studio has been commissioned to provide its services for Mother Angelica of EWTN, St. Mother Theresa and the Missionaries of Charity, St. John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis for their visits to the United States. In 2014  St. Jude Liturgical Arts Studio was recognized and received the Benemerenti Award for Service to the Church for Liturgical Art from Pope Francis and is considered to be one of the premier Liturgical Arts Studios in North America.
